The Circle's Annual Christmas Dinner.

For the November meeting, Circle Member Lee Bradshaw will speak on his passion for Black Basaltes, a black stoneware perfected by Josiah Wedgwood and made by many other manufacturers such as Neale, Turner and Herculaneum.

The October meeting will be another of the popular Show and Tell evenings, with the theme this time of "Animals".  Members are invited to bring along items decorated with or featuring animals or any animal figures.

In the September meeting, three Circle Members will give presentations.

Sandra van Zyl will speak on "A Medley of 20th Century Australian Women Potters Part 1".

John Scarce will present "Well and Truly Walloped" an R-rated tale of sexual misconduct, madness and mayhem, the story behind a fine armorial decorated plate.

John van Zyl has the topic "Venetian Glass Blowing Techniques", a look at the various techniques employed since the 15th Century by glass blowers on the island of Murano, Venice.
