Genine Wallinga is an enthusiastic amateur student of the Age of Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution, and their transformational effect on the human condition.  Hence, she is interested in 17th and 18th century ceramics both European and Oriental, in their charming and eccentric forms and decoration and their social and economic meaning.

Genine joined the Circle in 2005, has been on the Circle Committee since 2008 and is a frequent speaker at the annual study weekend and a regular contributor to the newsletter.
