Anne McComish is a graduate from both Flinders and Melbourne Universities in Art History and completed post graduate study in Arts Administration in London. She spent several years living overseas and was able to visit the major galleries of the world.
Anne McComish's passion for mosaics started as a teenager when her grandmother gave her some micromosaic jewellery. Recently she retired from being a voluntary guide at the National Gallery of Victoria in order to pursue her research work into mosaics from the Vatican Mosaic Studio at the Vatican Archive in Rome. Her interest focuses on both the historical and practical aspects of Micromosaics.
